Volunteer Opportunities

Each year more than 200 volunteers join us at Camp of Champions to help create special experiences for the families in our care. Volunteers are essential in helping Camp run smoothly. There are several ways you can get involved - whether for a few hours or all three days - to help make incredible memories for kids in foster care. Read on for more information!

FAQS

  • Camp of Champions is an exciting weekend for the Children’s Homes! Camp is one of our signature events and the only time of the year that our entire ABCH family comes together in one location.

Camp includes high quality, specialized training for our foster parents and age-appropriate classes and activities for the children in our care, providing the best possible memories for the children and families we serve.

Along with opportunities to learn from God’s Word, we also swim at the pool and lake, participate in fun games like bazooka ball, paintball, and ropes courses, worship together, create meaningful connections with other families, eat lots of food and snacks, and just have fun!

  • Camp of Champions takes place at Shocco Springs in Talladega, AL.
